Busy busy but my to-do list is still huge.

I have been so busy doing what feels like everything but it actually turns out I have only done a tiny fraction of the to-do list. Over Easter weekend Tyler and I went to Blue Ridge and took our engagement photos around sunset. They turned out really great, our photographer is great, and his name is Brian Minson. We woke up that Saturday morning and we had to be in Blue Ridge by 5:00 pm but I wanted to watch Water for Elephants so we were going to go over by around 2:00 pm but I was ready early so we went to the Bridal Fair over in Pinetop. Luck just had it that we took in a couple of dresses to try on and we found “the one”! It was odd, but fun, I never was the girl who pictured her self in a wedding dress, I didn’t know there were so many styles or anything like that. This whole thing has been an odd experience because I never even thought of my self getting married, I didn’t have any thing picked out like most girls.

Lets see what else has happened to me in the past Month… lol I’m obviously not very good at blogging. On May 3rd I was working at Red Robin and I lost a $100.00 bill. This is the second time I have done this at Red Robin. I was upset at first but now I just hope that some one who deserved the money found it. Also on May 7th Tyler and I went to Vegas to watch my cousin Amber Matthews Marry Mark Glusica. It was Tyler’s first time to Vegas. Talk about a kid in a candy store he had so much fun! We had so much fun together; we didn’t gamble much we did a lot of walking around. We will definitely be returning soon.

My cousin Amber has been working on our wedding invitations so I will be very excited when those are done and we get those in the mail. I also started summer school… I chose to do it online since I will have to making frequent trips to Round Valley for wedding supplies and invitations and everything else that I have to get done.

Also I should give a little shout out to Tyler he just earned employee of the month for PDI construction company. Good job baby! Way to be such a hard worker.

I will try not to let it be another month before I post again, this is suppose to be my lil journal. I obviously was not good at that as a kid either.

Shopping, shopping and more shopping.

Last time I wrote I was suppose to be on the way to register for wedding gifts, well that didn't happen. Instead I think I spent 4 hours in Hobby Lobby, 2 hours in Marshalls, 2 hours in Ross, 3 hours in Savers, and like 3 hours in Sams Club. Lets just say it was the longest weekend of my life, I did get a lot of decoration for the wedding, maybe a menu in mind, and I got my flower girl dress. She will probably be the only one in a dress cause I haven't started to look for mine yet.
Its really funny because I was positive that I was gonna be the BIGGEST bridezilla ever in history, and for those who know my personality then you know exactly why I predicted that, but I'm not. I haven't even let my OCD get the best of me yet. I actually haven't done one ounce of work on the wedding besides the weekend of shopping. My parents have done it all so far, which I am so grateful for. My dad got me the photographer who just won Arizona Wedding Photographer for 2011, his name is Brian Minson you can check him out here http://www.brianminson.com/. Then my mom has been doing the guest list, center pieces, decorations, and renting everything we need. Then Tyler's dad Kim his make me my cup cake stand.
Kim and Brandon (Tyler's older Bro) came down this weekend and they are building me a shelving unit in my garage (yippie, yeay) which I am so excited for because I am such a OCD freak that now that I have shelving for my 2 year storage I can categorize the cans and then alphabetize the cans accordingly. Yes organizing make me very happy, and I enjoy it, it like sooths my OCD inside. I also think they are going to build me shelves in the master bedroom since Tyler and I will be taking over. Then after that I am going to ask them for put up bird spikes on my roof. I know they are so so so ugly but those birds poop and it runs down the side of my house and looks absolutely horrid. I know after this weekend of house projects he is gonna re-think this marriage thing, but I am just trying to get the house ready so that after the wedding we can just move in with out having to do to much work. I'm just not sure the house fixing up will ever end. Just this week we have started to shampoo carpets, hang curtain rods, put together ikea dressers and much more. We are doing all this while I'm in school and working, and Tyler is trying to work between 50-60 hours a week. We have never been so busy in out lives, I was expecting engagment to be all love and cuddling but ours seems like it cleaning and building. I guess it all has to be done so doing it now rather then later is the best way to conquer it.
When people are stressed or have a lot on their plate some exercise, some eat, some work, I organize/clean. With everything that has been going on I have thinned out mine and Marcae's clothes. It was actually her idea but she sorta tricked me into it, she knew I was stressing and she knew once she got me started she could get me to organized any thing. We started on the master closet and worked out way down to the garage.. the result was 10 bags of clothes to donate, 25 pairs of shoes, 5 bags of garbage like or stuff we figured no one would want. This is the yard sale pile. Can you say extra wedding money... I think yes.

That's all for now I have to get up early, I have to help shampoo the guest room, and hang curtains before going to work at 5. I am still super excited to get us moved into one house and begin our lives together I get more and more excited everyday.

The First of many posts.

Tyler and I are getting married.... that is the most exciting thing we can talk about. We have been together so long that some times I forget that finding some one who you want to marry so young is not common. I recently told my co-workers that Tyler and I were getting married and they all were asking the same exact questions, so I bet you have are also wondering the same questions.
How did you 2 meet?
Tyler and I met in 7th grade social studies, he sat in the seat behind me and he said "hey you have a sting in your hair", and before I could tell him it was not a string it was stitches he had pulled out the majority of my 10 stitches on my scalp. We became friends from there then he had his best friend ask me if I'd go out with him, and I replied, no. I then told him if you would like to ask me out then you can, your friend doesn't have to. Right then and there he said okay then, " will you go out with me?" I was awe struck, and I said yes! We have been together since then. We are both now 21, and laugh about how we met all the time.
How did he ask you to marry him?
He actually has not asked me to marry him yet. We went and picked up my ring (we have had our eye on it since December) on April 1st and he was gonna keep it until he popped the question but I saw my ring and I had to have it, I actually wore it out of the store because I just couldn't take it off my hand I loved it so much. He is waiting until all my family can be together to celebrate to ask me to marry him which will be in Vegas on May 6th, 7th, & 8th. I do realize that this is not how traditional couples to thing, but who said there is a correct way to purpose. I might he have the entire wedding planned before I get asked the big question.
Where did he get you ring?
He got my ring at Kay. It is a beautiful 3 carat 14k white gold ring. The center stone is a quad cut, and it has two bands of each side with princess cut channels. It melts my heart when I see it.

When is the wedding?
The wedding is on Aug 27th of this year. We will be having it in Round Valley at my parents house. My mother is being my wedding planner I am so thankful I have her to help me out with all of this. Plus if any one knows her, well then you know she makes everything beautiful with her creativeness. I am planning on have a simple wedding, but I know my mother will make it a elegant beautiful wedding. I am very grateful for her. I am also grateful for my father, because my parents are paying for my entire wedding, and without them Tyler and I would be getting married in Vegas by a cheap Elvis. I am so very thankful for my parents!

This is it for now, I have to get to bed because tomorrow we are registering at bed bath and beyond. I am so excited to do this, but wow its a lot of items to scan and un-scran, choose, then put back, and choose again. Tyler will hate every second of it, but he will smile the entire time, just to make me happy. That is exactly why I love the guy!
